Pay for PleasureFind out more

Read what you like,
Pay what you think

I hope you will find this site creative and innovative. The core of it is that you can download any of my books and read them before paying (or not) what you judge they have been worth to you. The rules are simple.

1

Download Book

2

Leave a review and make a contribution. This amount can be anything from zero to a king’s ransom!

3

That’s it. You can see that this inverts all normal buying habits. It puts you in charge.

You deal directly with me, the author, both by contribution and feedback. No middlemen. No Amazon. No need for prior reviews in the literary columns.

I hope you all become a fan of the site and tell all your friends, or tell me what you think of it here.

Carnivore Coda (Song for guitar 5)

Thursday, March 21, 2019

The curse was scratched upon a wall

In a cave hid from the light

It said, “Beware millennia

Of glut and then of blight…”

But we just laughed at the prop

In our Paradise delight

On the final day of the thousandth year

A strange old madness showed

We cut the throat of a suckling calf

And we watched its final throes

Indifferent to its reckoning

And its mother’s howls of woe

“They cannot think, they feel no pain,”

We chanted blind with blood,

“Let’s rear them for our pleasure

To be our staple food.”

We turned all land to grazing

Convinced that meat was good

Blinkered to the land’s decay

And the rivers running dry

We sucked the life from Paradise

With countless sheds and sties

So when the new millennium dawned

There was no Paradise

A scorched earth, a barren land

A leafless tree of life

A bird-less sky and empty seas

And silent silent nights

The world had now begun

A thousand years of blight

Our World (Song for guitar 4)

Friday, March 15, 2019

We’re marching for our futures

We’re marching for our fate

We’re marching for the pl

Before it is too late

Governments say “Go back to school

You do not understand

Stick your noses in your books

We’ve stuck ours in the sand”

We’re marching for our futures

We’re marching for our fate

We’re marching for the planet

Before it is too late

Governments have lost our trust

By sitting on their hands

And allowing greed and avarice

To pollute the sea and land

We’re marching for our futures

We’re marching for our fate

We’re marching for the planet

Before it is too late

Our air is full of toxins

That poison every breath

The old will live a full life span

For us – an early death

We’re marching for our futures

We’re marching for our fate

We’re marching for the planet

Before it is too late

Rebel against the establishment

Rebel against its power

Strip it of authority

And make the planet ours

We’re marching for our futures

We’re marching for our fate

We’re marching for the planet

Before it is too late
