Pay for PleasureFind out more

Read what you like,
Pay what you think

I hope you will find this site creative and innovative. The core of it is that you can download any of my books and read them before paying (or not) what you judge they have been worth to you. The rules are simple.

1

Download Book

2

Leave a review and make a contribution. This amount can be anything from zero to a king’s ransom!

3

That’s it. You can see that this inverts all normal buying habits. It puts you in charge.

You deal directly with me, the author, both by contribution and feedback. No middlemen. No Amazon. No need for prior reviews in the literary columns.

I hope you all become a fan of the site and tell all your friends, or tell me what you think of it here.

Stray Woman Blues (song for guitar 15)

This morning I woke up in my secret lover’s bed
I woke up in a cold sweat in my lover’s bed
I‘d just had a nightmare that filled me full of dread

I was dead in a coffin made from the willow tree
I was dead in a coffin made from the willow tree
And my eyes were open for the whole world to see

And the ladies all spat as they passed me by
And the ladies all spat as they passed me by
But they curtsied to the man who stood at my side

“Oh my wife,” he whispered, “I killed you for your lies
“Oh my wife,” he whispered, “I killed you for your lies.”
“I loved you and forgave you not just once but twice”

“You played me for a fool, left my side in the night
You played me for a fool, left my side in the night
For another man’s bed and to share his delights.”

“The third time you strayed I put a knife in your heart
The third time you strayed I put a knife in your heart
For we swore the Book that we would never part.”

This morning I woke up in my secret lover’s bed
I woke up in a cold sweat in my lover’s  bed
I‘d just had a nightmare that filled me full of dread
